According to court documents, the offences are reported to have taken place on the following dates:

  • April to June 2021

The charge of sexual assault specifically relates to an alleged incident in February 2022. The Metropolitan Police reportedly began investigations after receiving a rape complaint in February 2022.

Partey, 32, appeared in court alongside his lawyer, Jenny Wiltshire, who is known for previously representing Benjamin Mendy in his high-profile rape case. Wiltshire urged the court to allow Partey to remain free under bail conditions while cooperating fully with the prosecution.

The court granted conditional bail with the following restrictions:

Bail Conditions:

  • Partey must not contact any of the three alleged victims, either directly or indirectly.

  • He must inform the police in writing of any permanent change of address.

  • He is required to notify the police at least 24 hours in advance if he intends to travel outside of England.

  • Partey must be present at the next scheduled court hearing.

The midfielder is expected to return to court on September 2, 2025, at the Old Bailey in London, where the case will continue.
