Swallow Your Pride And Say “I AM SORRY” – Apostle Joshua Selman
Renowned Nigerian preacher, Apostle Joshua Selman, has encouraged believers to embrace humility by learning to apologize when they are wrong.
Speaking during a church service, the founder of Eternity Network International (ENI) emphasized that many relationships whether in marriage, friendships, or ministry suffer because people find it difficult to say “I am sorry.”
According to him, pride has destroyed countless valuable connections and opportunities. He explained that some individuals would rather lose relationships or blessings than admit their mistakes and apologize sincerely.
“Sometimes, all it takes to restore peace is a simple ‘I’m sorry,’ but many are too proud to say it,” Apostle Selman stated.
He reminded his congregation that true spiritual maturity is not only shown through prayer or church attendance but also through humility and a forgiving heart.
Apostle Selman urged Christians to practice humility daily and to value peace over ego, adding that saying “I am sorry” does not make one weak it is a sign of strength, wisdom, and emotional growth.
He concluded by saying, “If you truly want to be like Christ, you must be humble enough to admit your wrongs and seek peace with others.”
