Suzzy Pinamang Sees Again After Undergoing Successful Surgery In The UK

Suzzy Adwoa Pinamang, a 16-year-old second-year student at Adventist Senior High School in Bantama, Ghana, has reportedly regained her eyesight following a successful eye surgery in the United Kingdom. This development comes after she sustained a serious eye injury from an accidental gunshot fired by a classmate in April 2025.

Upon arrival in the UK on May 10, 2025, Suzzy was accompanied by her brother, Clement Kobi, and Rafik Mahama, a special aide to Ghanaian businessman and philanthropist Ibrahim Mahama, who fully sponsored her travel and medical treatment.

The swift arrangements were facilitated through the intervention of Mr. Ibrahim Mahama, with support from Ghana’s Minister for Foreign Affairs, Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, who coordinated with the Ghana High Commission in the UK to provide consular support and ensure a smooth departure.

In a recent TikTok live session, Suzzy, alongside her brother, expressed gratitude for the support received and appealed to the public for continued prayers as she embarks on her recovery journey. Her story has garnered widespread attention, with many Ghanaians expressing their well-wishes and support.

The successful surgery marks a significant milestone in Suzzy’s recovery, offering hope and inspiration to others facing similar challenges.
