Sulley Muntari Safe In Dubai — Manager Denies Arrest Reports
Sammy Anim Addo, manager and representative of former Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan, has dismissed claims that ex-Black Stars midfielder Sulley Muntari was arrested in Dubai.

The clarification follows circulating reports alleging that the former AC Milan and Inter Milan star had been detained in the United Arab Emirates.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, via his verified X (formerly Twitter) account, Anim Addo confirmed that Muntari is safe and residing in Dubai, where he is focused on his personal and business activities.

He described the reports as entirely false and urged the public to ignore them. Anim Addo further called on media outlets that published the misinformation to retract their stories and issue a formal apology.
He warned that if such actions are not taken, Muntari’s legal team will pursue appropriate legal measures against those responsible.
Sulley Muntari is safe and currently residing in Dubai, where he is focused on his personal affairs and business activities.
