Stonebwoy Never Thanked Asamoah Gyan For Paying For His Knee Surgery – Ayisha Modi

Ghanaian socialite and online personality Naa Adokailey Wopekuku, better known as Ayisha Modi, has accused Stonebwoy of failing to thank former Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan for covering the cost of his knee surgery.

Modi, who was once a vocal supporter of Stonebwoy and known as ‘She Loves Stonebwoy,’ is currently embroiled in a largely one-sided feud with the reggae-dancehall artist.

In a recent video shared on social media, Modi revealed that Stonebwoy, whom she claims lacks gratitude towards her, never expressed thanks to Gyan for nearly ten years after the footballer paid for his knee surgery.

At the start of his career, Stonebwoy was known for limping due to a leg injury from a past accident. The accident resulted in a broken leg that could not bend properly at the knee due to metal implants used in the reconstruction.

Stonebwoy eventually sought surgery abroad, but the public was unaware that Asamoah Gyan was the one who funded the procedure.

Modi insists that for nearly a decade, Stonebwoy never acknowledged Gyan’s assistance. According to her, Gyan grew frustrated with the artist’s lack of appreciation and reached out to Modi multiple times, urging Stonebwoy to show gratitude.

Modi revealed that it was only when Gyan stopped responding to Stonebwoy’s calls that the artist finally understood Gyan’s frustration and publicly thanked him for his support.
