Stonebwoy Helps Me With My Reggae Songs; I Want To Do A Song With Him – Sonnie Badu

Ghanaian gospel artiste Evangelist Sonnie Badu has praised musicians Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale for their professionalism and deep spiritual grounding, while also suggesting a potential reggae collaboration with Stonebwoy.

In an interview on Angel FM, Sonnie Badu described Stonebwoy as a highly spiritual person, emphasizing that an artiste’s music genre does not define their faith or moral values.

“He knows God very well. It is simply his craft that shapes how he expresses himself. He is God-fearing and even assists me with my reggae songs,” he stated.

According to Sonnie Badu, he often consults Stonebwoy for proper pronunciation and guidance on reggae tracks. He also noted that both Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale show him immense respect, always making time for him despite their busy schedules.

He further explained that choosing a particular music genre does not make an individual sinful, pointing out that the Bible contains teachings centered on love, which goes beyond musical classifications.

“There are portions of the Bible dedicated to love. Being involved in other music genres does not make someone a sinner,” he said.

Touching on the possibility of a reggae collaboration, Sonnie Badu revealed that he is currently focused on a different musical direction. However, he assured fans that when the time is right, he and Stonebwoy will work on a song together.

“I’m on a different path right now, but when the right moment comes, Stonebwoy and I will do a song together,” he added.
