The Oda High Court delivered the ruling on Monday, May 5, 2025, following the circulation of a viral video showing the pair engaged in a brutal fight just days earlier.

According to reports, the clash occurred on May 2 when Showboy, in town for a performance, unexpectedly encountered Kaytee — a former associate with whom he shares a long-standing feud. The situation quickly escalated into violence.

Eyewitnesses say the brawl resulted in Showboy being stabbed in the back and the rear windshield of his car being smashed. In retaliation, Showboy allegedly bit off part of Kaytee’s ear.

The court, seeking to discourage public violence, remanded both men into custody for two weeks.

In a video recorded at the court premises, a handcuffed Showboy expressed regret and used the moment to warn others against violence.

“Have you seen the cost of violence? You’ll learn from this. I use myself as an example — nobody is above the law. We’re going inside for two weeks to learn from this,” he said.

However, he later added defiantly, “I’m supposed to learn from this, but I won’t. I’ve done nothing wrong. But if someone offends you, don’t take the law into your own hands.”

This marks yet another chapter in Showboy’s controversial past, having previously served time in the U.S. for an assault-related offense.
