Serena Williams Accepted Christ As Her Savior And Underwent Jehovah’s Witness Baptism
Just four months after quitting tennis, Serena Williams was baptized as a Jehovah’s Witness. Serena Williams, a 23-time Grand Slam singles champion, experienced a significant milestone on Sunday when she was baptized as a Jehovah’s Witness.
The Jehovah’s Witness Assembly in West Palm Beach, Florida, is where the baptism took place.
Serena, who announced her departure from the court in September of last year, has previously stated her desire to put her family and faith first after giving up the game.
She is renowned for her exceptional performance over the course of a career spanning more than two decades, earning 23 grand slam titles, the second-most of all time and the most of any player during the open era.
I value my Jehovah’s Witness status, but I haven’t truly lived up to it despite wanting to. – Serena had stated in a Vogue interview.
