Seize Every Opportunity — Diana Hamilton Advises Musicians at Band Experience

Ghanaian singer Diana Hamilton inspired musicians at the recently concluded Band Experience in Manchester, UK, by sharing her personal journey to success and stressing the importance of embracing every opportunity.

Hamilton recalled a breakthrough moment in her early choir days, when she stepped in unexpectedly for a lead soprano and was immediately recognized for her talent.

“Never underestimate any opportunity you get,” she told attendees. “You never know where it will lead you.”

The renowned musician emphasized service, dedication, and faith, encouraging young artists to always give their best.

“Take every opportunity given to you. Give it your best and watch God do the rest,” she said.

Beyond performance, Hamilton highlighted the importance of networking and building relationships within the music industry, urging participants to connect with fellow artists to advance their careers.

The annual Band Experience, held on November 1, 2025, offers more than performance and production training. It provides mentorship, learning, and growth opportunities for musicians.

This year’s edition also featured the ICE Awards (InterCultural Creative Excellence Awards), which honored individuals who have made notable contributions to Manchester’s arts scene. Recipients included Pastor Richard Grant, co-founder of Warehouse Worship UK; vocalist Ezekiel Omosebi; international music director and show producer Ibukun Ayanlere; Terry King; and a posthumous award for Rev. Dr. Amos Olantunde Ayanlere.
