Richard Nii Armah Quaye Allegedly In Debt For Over GHS 30 Million In Unpaid Income Taxes
CitiNewsroom reports that Ghanaian businessman and entrepreneur Richard Nii Armah Quaye allegedly owes over GHS 30 million in unpaid income taxes, leading to financial trouble with authorities.

In response, the Financial Intelligence Center (FIC) has frozen Quaye’s personal bank accounts, as well as those of his businesses, Quick Credit and Bills MicroFinance. Additionally, the accounts of his company’s CEO, Rome-Richlove Seshie, have been frozen.
The Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) is conducting a ‘personal income tax’ review, which surfaced shortly after Quaye’s extravagant birthday celebration. His recent high-profile purchases—including a $3 million Bugatti Chiron and a private jet worth tens of millions—have drawn significant public attention.
His birthday party was attended by prominent figures such as Osei Kwame Despite, Davido, Joselyn Dumas, and Ramsey Nouah.
