Renowned Gospel Artist Bunmi Akinnaanu Passes Away
Popular Nigerian gospel singer Bunmi Akinnanu, renowned for her hit song “Omije Ojumi,” has passed away.
A family source confirmed her death on Tuesday night, though no official announcement has been made. The post was shared alongside a photograph of the late singer and a short video clip.
“With great sadness, we announce the passing of Evangelist Olubunmi Akinnaanu Adeoye, OMIJE OJUMI, who passed away on 12th January 2026 at a Lagos hospital, Nigeria.
“May God grant her eternal rest,” the statement read.
