PSG Lead Arsenal 1-0 At Halftime — Ruiz With The Goal

At halftime of the UEFA Champions League semi-final second leg on May 7, 2025, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) lead Arsenal 1-0 at the Parc des Princes, extending their aggregate advantage to 2-0. Fabian Ruiz scored the opening goal with a deflected left-footed strike following a set-piece.

Despite Arsenal’s aggressive start, with notable attempts from Martin Ødegaard, Gabriel Martinelli, and Declan Rice, PSG’s goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma made crucial saves to maintain the lead. PSG also posed threats on the counterattack, with Khvicha Kvaratskhelia hitting the post and Declan Rice making a vital defensive intervention to thwart Désiré Doué.
