President Mahama Donates 40 Special Armored Vehicles To Ghana Police Service
President John Dramani Mahama has officially presented 40 specially built armored vehicles to the Ghana Police Service during a ceremony at the Police Headquarters in Accra, reinforcing the government’s commitment to boosting national security.

In his address, President Mahama noted that the new vehicles will greatly strengthen police operations and enhance the safety of officers as well as the general public. He urged the Service to ensure the vehicles are used responsibly and strictly for their intended functions, while continuing their duty to protect citizens nationwide.
Interior Minister Muntaka Mubarak also assured that the vehicles will be strategically deployed. He encouraged the public to remain confident in the Police, emphasizing that they are now “fully prepared and well-equipped” to maintain national security.

Inspector-General of Police Christian Tetteh Yohuno sent a strong warning to criminal groups, stating that the Service is ready to break down all criminal syndicates. He further noted that robust security measures have already been implemented ahead of the Christmas festivities.
