During an emotional interview on Hitz FM with Kwame Dadzie and Doreen Avio, gospel musician Perez Musik opened up about his deep frustration regarding the lack of brand support for gospel events in Ghana.

He lamented the limited sponsorship and financial backing gospel concerts receive compared to other genres, noting that this gap makes it difficult for organizers to produce high-quality shows and for artists to expand their reach.

“I love what I do, but it’s disheartening to see gospel events struggle while other genres receive so much attention and support from brands,” he said. “We need more investment if we truly want the gospel music industry to grow in this country.”

His emotional remarks struck a chord with listeners, prompting many to take to social media to echo his concerns and advocate for greater support for the gospel music community.
