The Office of the First Lady, Mrs. Lordina Mahama, in collaboration with the Ghana AIDS Commission, organized a public health screening exercise aimed at supporting vulnerable groups within the Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA) area.

The event, held at the AMA premises, provided free health screening services including HIV testing, blood pressure and blood sugar checks, and general medical consultations. The initiative forms part of ongoing efforts to promote public health, raise awareness about HIV/AIDS, and ensure underserved populations have access to essential health services.

In her remarks, Mrs. Mahama emphasized the importance of inclusive healthcare and the need to prioritize the well-being of all Ghanaians, especially those most at risk.
Officials from the Ghana AIDS Commission underscored the significance of early detection and community engagement in combating the spread of HIV.

The screening attracted a large turnout of community members, many of whom expressed appreciation for the opportunity to receive professional healthcare services free of charge.
