The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has issued a directive to its members, instructing them to refrain from discussing internal party matters in the media that could lead to disunity and tarnish the party’s image.

In a statement signed by General Secretary Justin Kodua Frimpong, the party acknowledged the disappointment and emotional distress among members following their defeat in the recent elections. However, it emphasized the importance of unity and calm during this period.

The statement further reminded members of their constitutional duty under Article 3(5) to promote and defend the good name of the NPP. It warned that any member who violates this directive will be referred to the appropriate disciplinary committees at the national, regional, and constituency levels.

This move comes amid concerns that public expressions of frustration by party members could deepen divisions within the NPP. The leadership is urging all members to uphold the party’s values and work together to rebuild a stronger and more united front for the future.
