The policy covers all visual content, including feature films, short films, trailers, series, documentaries, music videos, adverts, and other audio-visual material—whether screened in cinemas, aired on television, streamed online, or shown at public events.

Beginning May 1, 2025, content producers, distributors, and exhibitors must obtain valid licenses from the NFA before submitting any material for classification under the new enforcement policy.
