Nana Romeo Resigns From Accra FM

Ghanaian radio presenter Nana Romeo, whose real name is Abdul Karim, has officially parted ways with Accra FM.

He made the announcement via an Instagram post on May 26, 2025, marking the end of nearly a decade-long tenure with the Accra-based station.

In his message, Nana Romeo expressed heartfelt gratitude to the owner of Class Media Group (CMG), Alhaji Seidu Agongo, and former General Manager Nana Appeanti for their belief in his abilities. He also extended his appreciation to his colleagues for their support throughout his journey.

In a heartfelt Instagram post on May 26, 2025, he wrote:

“As I sit down to write this, it’s hard to believe that the time has come for me to say goodbye to CMG – ACCRA FM 100.5 after close to 10 years of togetherness.
The moment has arrived for me to take the next step in my journey, and I want to take a moment to thank and appreciate the owner of CMG, Alhaji Seidu Agongo; Nana Appeanti, the then General Manager who saw and believed in my talent; all my colleagues, both past and present; my cherished listeners; and all my loved ones.
Words aren’t enough to express how I’m feeling right now. It’s been beautiful. FASTEN YOUR SEATBELT AS I ANNOUNCE MY NEXT HOME SOON. THANK YOU 🙏”

Nana Romeo was widely known as the host of Accra FM’s midmorning show and entertainment segment. While he has not yet disclosed his next destination, he hinted that an announcement is on the way.
