My Biggest Loss Within This 25years Was Losing My Beloved Husband – Grace Ashly
Veteran gospel musician Grace Ashly has opened up about one of the most painful moments of her life losing her beloved husband.
In an emotional interview with Nana Romeo on Ekwansodwoodwoo on Okay FM, the celebrated gospel singer, who recently marked 25 years in ministry, shared that the death of her husband remains her greatest loss throughout her journey.
“My biggest loss within these 25 years was losing my beloved husband,” she said softly. “It was a very difficult period for me. I felt broken, but I had to rely on God’s strength to keep going.”
Grace Ashly, known for timeless hits such as Wo Nutso Yesu, revealed that despite the deep pain, her faith in God sustained her through the storm. She added that the experience taught her to draw even closer to God and find peace in His will.
“It wasn’t easy, but I learned that no matter what we go through, God never leaves us,” she continued. “He gives us comfort even when our hearts are shattered.”
The gospel icon, who has inspired millions with her powerful voice and unwavering faith, encouraged others going through loss to hold on to God, emphasizing that healing takes time but faith makes the journey bearable.
