MUSIGA And GHAMRO Have Been Insensitive To Kwadee – Captain Planet

Both music associations are frequently accused of neglecting the welfare of musicians, especially those in need or older artists. The latest case involves Okomfour Kwadee, who has been seen in viral videos in a destitute state.
Captain Planet took to his X page to urge musicians to unite in efforts to support their ailing colleague, Okomfour Kwadee.
In an interview with Tony Best on Entertainment 360 on Saturday, February 8, the renowned artist expressed his frustration, revealing that he has consistently reached out to Kwadee but believes it’s now time for a collective effort.
“I don’t want to hear the names of GHAMRO and MUSIGA; they are uncaring towards musicians. I get annoyed whenever their names are mentioned for emphasis. They are not doing what is expected of them,” he told Akoma FM.
He also criticized the organizations for paying musicians as low as ¢200 in royalties, stating that their treatment of Ghanaians leaves much to be desired.
Captain Planet believes both GHAMRO and MUSIGA are fully aware of Kwadee’s struggles but have deliberately ignored them.
