Movie Actor, Fiifi Coleman to honour late Prof. Ama Atta Aidoo with stage play
In appreciation of the works and in memory of the late poet, playwright and author, Ama Ata Aidoo, actor Fiifi Coleman is set to stage a play at the National Theatre on Saturday, July 29.
The play titled, “Dilemma of a Ghost” is one the popular plays by the renowned and astute author who passed on in May this year.
The cast for the 4pm and 8pm play include Roselyn Feli, Adjetey Anang, Naa Ashorkor, Fiifi Coleman, Fred Amugi, Brew Riverson Junior, and members of Abibikroma Drama group among others.
In a post interview with Graphic Showbiz after a press conference to announce the upcoming event at his office in East Legon yesterday, June 30, Fiifi said it was quite unfortunate that the play was being staged at a time Professor Ama Ata Aidoo is no more. “I wish she were alive to witness this play by these awesome actors.

Professor was one person I personally admired and as an actor who has featured on Dilemma of a Ghost more than twice on stage, it was best to assemble these great actors to do something to honour Prof. Ama Atta Aidoo. I contacted her family and they gave me the go ahead. We are currently rehearsing for the big day that is July 29.
” I will urge all Ghanaians to come in their numbers to watch this beautiful play. At least, if for nothing at all, Brew Riverson Junior who has been missing on the acting scene for a long time will be on stage,” he said.
