Meet ACP Owusuwaa Kyeremeh, The Visionary Leader Redefining DOVVSU And Restoring Public Confidence In Its Vital Mandate
ACP/Miss Owusuwaa Kyeremeh, Esq., Director of the Domestic Violence and Victim Support Unit (DOVVSU), has emerged as a beacon of transformational leadership, steering the Unit into a new era of efficiency, compassion, and public trust.
Since assuming leadership of the Unit, she has driven remarkable transformation and strengthened public confidence in DOVVSU’s mandate.

Under her direction, the Unit has provided psychological support to 316 survivors between 2023 and 2025, ensuring victims receive the care and guidance they need on their journey to recovery. Previously, DOVVSU struggled with numerous challenges, but her visionary leadership has reshaped the Unit making it more efficient, more responsive, and more trusted by the public.

Today, DOVVSU can proudly boast of its ultramodern One-Stop Centre, a fully equipped facility designed to provide comprehensive support for survivors through the leadership of ACP Owusuwaa Kyeremeh.
The centre features a clinic, shelter, laboratory, investigation room, conference room, helpline centre, children’s room, consulting room, psychologist’s office, podcast studio, and several other essential amenities all under one roof to ensure efficient, survivor-centered service delivery.
In 2025, ACP Owusuwaa led the launch of the 30 Days of Activism Campaign Against Gender-Based Violence, a nationwide initiative that renewed hope for survivors across various communities. The campaign attracted Chiefs and Queen Mothers from all over Ghana, who pledged their commitment to raising awareness about gender-based violence affecting women, children, and men.
Ghana is truly proud to have a dedicated and transformative leader like ACP/Miss Owusuwaa Kyeremeh at the helm of DOVVSU. Her work continues to inspire confidence, protect the vulnerable, and champion justice for all.
