Man Arrested After Threatening To Shoot Police Officers In Viral Video
A 32-year-old filmmaker, Israel Agbo Forson, has been arrested by the Ghana Police Service after a video of him threatening to shoot police officers went viral on social media.

The arrest took place on Monday, June 23, 2025, at Mr. Forson’s residence in North Legon, Accra, following an intelligence-led operation.
According to a statement from the Ghana Police Service’s Regional Public Affairs Unit, Mr. Forson was seen in the viral video confronting and issuing threats to police officers during what appeared to be a traffic stop.

He has since been granted police enquiry bail and is currently assisting with ongoing investigations.
The video, which circulated widely over the weekend, sparked public outrage and condemnation. In response, the police described the behaviour as unlawful and a threat to both public order and the authority of law enforcement.
“The Ghana Police Service once again condemns in the strongest terms acts of incitement, threats, and obstruction against law enforcement officers,” the statement read.
