The event, dubbed “Kudus Mohammed School Homecoming Visitation,” was held in collaboration with global footwear brand Skechers and was met with loud cheers and heartfelt excitement from both students and teachers.

“This is where everything started for me,” Kudus said. “Coming back here isn’t just about giving, but also a reminder to these kids that it’s possible. I was once one of them.”

“I’m just here to shed a little light on my story and how I got to where I am today. I started like most of you studying in this same school, and at the same time, chasing my dream of playing football,” he shared.

Kudus highlighted the practical importance of education, especially in professional sports, noting that a solid academic foundation is essential for understanding contracts, communicating clearly, and navigating the business side of football.

“In the football world, you need your basic education. You have to take it seriously. As a footballer, you must understand your contracts, speak well in interviews, and know how to engage with others,” he said.

Expressing gratitude for the warm reception, Kudus described the donation as a small but heartfelt gesture to give back to the community that nurtured him.

“It’s just a little gesture to show my appreciation for all the support and the education I’ve received to get to this point.”

In closing, Kudus urged the students to prioritize their education, no matter their dreams or ambitions.

“I want to encourage you all to take your education seriously. Whatever job you want to do, the foundation is education. I love you all, and thank you for the warm welcome.”
