Following the party’s defeat in the 2024 general elections, the NPP is preparing to hold a national delegates conference as part of efforts to elect a new flagbearer for the 2028 elections.
In a show of solidarity and dedication to the party’s future, the flagbearer hopeful has donated GH¢4 million to support the successful organisation of the conference.
Kennedy Ohene Agyapong has also called on delegates to make choices that align with the aspirations of the broader Ghanaian public as the party prepares for the crucial conference on Saturday, July 19.
In a Facebook post ahead of the event, he stressed the importance of electing capable leaders to position the NPP for victory in the next general election.
“I urge you to make decisions that reflect the will of Ghanaians and the delegates, especially the grassroots. They are the true voice of the people, and we must listen to them,” he stated.
He added, “I’m appealing to all delegates to choose wisely in order to help the party secure success in the 2028 elections.”
