Ken Ofori-Atta Expected To Appear At Office Of The Special Prosecutor Headquarters On June 2
The Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) has announced that former Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta is expected to appear at its headquarters on June 2, 2025.

Responding to a question on its official X (formerly Twitter) account regarding Mr. Ofori-Atta’s whereabouts, the OSP confirmed: “Ken Ofori-Atta is expected to report at the headquarters of OSP on 2 June 2025. Thank you.”
The OSP revealed that it previously removed Mr. Ofori-Atta’s name from its list of wanted persons after he formally requested the removal and gave written assurance that he would present himself for questioning on a specific date.
According to the OSP, should Mr. Ofori-Atta fail to appear on the scheduled date, his name will be reinstated on the wanted list, and he will be deemed a fugitive. In that case, the OSP will pursue an Interpol Red Notice and initiate extradition proceedings in any country where he is located.
The Special Prosecutor emphasized that Mr. Ofori-Atta is the prime suspect in five active corruption and corruption-related investigations, reaffirming its commitment to uphold the law and ensure accountability.
