Dumas’ extensive experience in media and entertainment positions her well to engage with the Ghanaian diaspora, fostering cultural and economic collaborations. Her appointment reflects the government’s commitment to strengthening ties with Ghanaians abroad and encouraging their active participation in national development.
This move is part of a broader trend of integrating creative industry professionals into governmental roles. Recently, actress Kafui Danku was appointed as the Executive Secretary of the National Film Authority, with actor James Gardiner serving as her deputy.
