Award-winning Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie has publicly endorsed fellow musician Shatta Wale’s ride-hailing service, Shaxi.

Despite their past differences, Sarkodie praised Shaxi as the most reliable transportation platform currently operating in Ghana.

In a post shared on Thursday, July 17, 2025, Sarkodie encouraged both Ghanaians and visitors to use Shaxi for their transport needs while in the country.

He accompanied his message with a video showing a Shaxi-branded vehicle in motion, captioning it: “When you touch Gh 🇬🇭 make sure you only use the best and most reliable ride-hailing app @SHAXIGHANA 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥.”

Shaxi, launched by dancehall icon Shatta Wale in December 2021, has steadily grown in popularity. It has become a preferred option for many Ghanaian commuters due to its strong local focus and commitment to youth employment.

Sarkodie’s endorsement comes at a time when Shaxi is gaining attention for its innovative strategies and partnerships, including a recent collaboration with the Youth Employment Agency (YEA) aimed at boosting job creation through transport services.
