If You Have A Job, Stay In Ghana Life Abroad Is Tough – Piesie Esther Advises Youth
Award-winning Ghanaian gospel singer, Piesie Esther, has shared heartfelt advice with Ghanaian youth who are considering traveling abroad in search of greener pastures.
Speaking in an interview with Nana Romeo on Okay FM, the Nyame Ye hitmaker urged young people to think carefully before leaving Ghana, especially if they already have a stable job or source of income locally.

Piesie Esther explained that many people are often lured by the idea that life abroad is easy and filled with endless opportunities. However, she pointed out that the reality on the ground is very different.
“If you have something meaningful doing in Ghana, stay and build your life here. Life abroad is not as easy as social media makes it seem. People are working extremely hard just to pay rent and bills,” she cautioned.
She further emphasized that there is dignity and opportunity in working and thriving in Ghana, encouraging young people to focus on developing themselves and using their skills to create value locally.
