Founder and General Overseer of Action Chapel International, Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams, has cautioned Christians to test prophecies against Scripture and not blindly accept every prophetic declaration.

Speaking in an interview on TV3 with Cookie Tee, the respected clergyman emphasized that the Bible remains the highest authority for believers and must be the standard by which all prophecies are judged.

According to Archbishop Duncan-Williams, any prophecy that contradicts God’s Word should be rejected. He stressed that believers are not powerless and have the right to cancel and annul prophecies that do not align with Scripture.

“Jesus said you shall know them by their fruit, not by their prophecy,” he stated, urging Christians to look beyond words and focus on character, conduct, and biblical truth.

He explained that true spiritual guidance will always agree with Scripture and produce good fruit in the lives of people. Prophecies that instill fear, confusion, or contradict biblical principles, he noted, should not be accepted.
