Exclusive and credible information obtained by Hypes media confirms that business mogul Ibrahim Mahama has generously donated $115,000 to media personality Kofi Adomah Nwanwanii for his eye surgery. This revelation refutes widespread speculations and misconceptions that Mahama had promised but failed to deliver.

Mr. Ibrahim Mahama, CEO of Engineers & Planners Ltd and Dzata Cement, showed great compassion by agreeing to fund journalist Kofi Adomah’s eye surgery in Dubai. This generous gesture was first disclosed by broadcaster Nana Yaa Brefo during the Yen Nsempa Morning Show on Onua FM on January 22, 2025.

However, uncertainty and speculation have surrounded whether Mr. Mahama has indeed fulfilled his promise, leaving many questioning the status of his pledged support.

This exclusive revelation to Hypes Media confirms that business mogul Ibrahim Mahama has indeed fulfilled his promise by transferring $115,000 directly from his bank account to Miracle Adoma’s personal Ecobank account at the East Legon branch in late January 2025. The funds are meant to support Kofi Adomah’s ongoing medical treatment following a tragic shooting incident that left him with severe eye injuries.

Mahama’s generous donation is part of a broader effort to help cover the costs of multiple surgeries needed to restore Adomah’s vision. The journalist was shot in the face while covering the Dormaa Kwafie Festival in the Bono Region, causing critical damage to both eyes.

This contribution adds to the growing support for Adomah, which includes a donation of GHC110,000 and $40,000 from businessman and employer Kwaku Oteng. Additionally, a GoFundMe campaign has been launched to raise €50,000 for his medical expenses, with over €4,000 already contributed by donors.

Ibrahim Mahama’s act of kindness highlights the solidarity within Ghana’s business and media communities as they come together to support one of their own during this difficult time. His contribution is expected to ease the financial burden on Adomah and his family, allowing him to focus fully on his recovery.
