“I Was Pregnant For Two Years” – Oheneni Adazoa Recounts Traumatic Experience
Ghanaian media personality and women’s advocate, Oheneni Adazoa, has courageously opened up about a deeply distressing and mysterious experience—a supposed pregnancy that inexplicably lasted two years and severely impacted both her physical and emotional well-being.
In a heartfelt interview on Asetena Pa with Akoto Mansa, Adazoa, who also works as a presenter on Sompa FM, recounted how her body mimicked the symptoms of pregnancy for two full years. Despite numerous medical evaluations, doctors consistently told her she was pregnant—though, in reality, she was not.

“My stomach kept growing. I carried that ‘pregnancy’ for two years. If you had seen me then, I looked five times my normal size,” Adazoa said, describing the physical changes that left her in constant discomfort. “It felt like I would give birth at any moment. My feet were swollen, and I had severe acne all over my face.”
After over two decades of marriage without conceiving, the strange condition left both Oheneni and her doctors confused and frustrated. When medical science offered no answers, she sought spiritual intervention and turned to a reverend for prayer.
“The reverend prayed for me and told me to go home. That night, I had a strange dream—I felt nauseous and vomited a large egg. It cracked when it hit the ground. I can’t even explain what was inside it,” she recalled.
When she awoke from the dream, she discovered that her once-swollen belly had returned to normal—marking a sudden and mysterious end to her long and painful ordeal.
