Reflecting on his entry into politics, A Plus said his motivation was to prove a point. “I entered politics to show people that if I want to, I can be here,” he said boldly. “Instead of wasting time debating what others can or can’t do, focus on what you can achieve,” he added with conviction.

A Plus also touched on his past with the New Patriotic Party (NPP), revealing that although he initially supported President Nana Akufo-Addo and respected his leadership, tensions eventually arose due to his outspoken nature.

“They gave me a job, but when they realized I wasn’t someone who would keep quiet, they pulled back,” he explained. “I’m not the type to stay silent. If I’m involved, I’ll speak my mind.”

Despite the fallout, he insisted there’s no bad blood. “I don’t inherit enemies,” A Plus stated. “I still believe in the NPP’s leadership and maintain good relationships with many of its members.”

Looking to the future, the Gomoa Central MP hinted at grander ambitions. “I want to be everything—maybe even president one day. Who knows?” he said with a smile. “But for now, I’m happy where I am. I’ll leave the rest to God.”

When asked if he had ever aspired to a ministerial role, A Plus was clear: “I will never be a minister. I want to live freely, be myself, and enjoy time with my friends. Being a minister comes with too many restrictions.”

Instead, he emphasized his preference for a fulfilling life that allows him to stay true to who he is—without being boxed in by the limitations of political office.
