‘I Thought I Might Die’ – Kofi Adomah Thanks Ibrahim Mahama For Eye Injury Support
Broadcaster Kofi Adomah Nwanwani has spoken out for the first time since surviving a gunshot wound to the face sustained during a traditional festival.
In his emotional account, he opens up about the trauma he endured, his journey to recovery, and the unwavering support he received from family, friends, and notable figures—among them businessman Ibrahim Mahama.
In a video shared on his Kofi TV YouTube channel on May 22, 2025, Kofi recounted his difficult road to recovery and expressed deep gratitude to the many individuals who stood by him during the traumatic experience. He paid special tribute to his own family as well as that of his wife, Miracle Adomah, for their unwavering support.
Kofi also singled out businessman Ibrahim Mahama for his exceptional generosity, revealing that Mahama even offered to fly him on a private jet to receive medical treatment.

”Today is just to say thank you. But as I’ve stated before, I won’t leave any issue unaddressed. Whatever needs to be done will be done. What I went through felt like the end. I thought I might die. Someone else was shot in the leg at Teshie-Nungua and didn’t survive. Mine was to the face. When you look at the scans, there are still fragments in there. Doctors say I’ll have to live with them for some time”
Kofi Adoma expressed his gratitude to Mr. Ibrahim Mahama for his support during the time he suffered an eye injury.
