Asare’s dedication and hard work were evident during the March international break, where he kept clean sheets in Ghana’s 5-0 victory over Chad and 3-0 win against Madagascar in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
Reflecting on his performance, he stated, “If you are a goalkeeper and you keep a clean sheet and don’t concede goals, people will see it. So far, I will say my hard work helped me to get this call-up.”
In a gesture of appreciation, Asare reportedly donated a significant portion of his GH¢170,000 Black Stars bonuses to various divisions within the Hearts of Oak family, including junior teams, the female team, and essential staff members.
Asare’s journey underscores the importance of community support and personal determination in achieving professional milestones.
