Taking to his official Facebook page, Dumelo shared that despite the many financial responsibilities that come with public service, he chose to dedicate his first salary to a meaningful cause—supporting widows in the Tesano area of Ayawaso West.
Dumelo, who is also a farmer, highlighted the spirit of giving during the Easter season, encouraging others to show kindness and compassion. “Easter is always a good time to share with others,” he wrote.
He accompanied the post with a video of his visit, where he is seen interacting and spending time with the widows. His caption read: “I spent part of my first salary as a Member of Parliament with widows in the Tesano area of Ayawaso West constituency yesterday. Easter is always a good time to share with others. God bless us all.”
The gesture has been met with praise from many Ghanaians, who commended Dumelo for his humility and commitment to giving back to the community.
