I Know Where You Stay, Your Time Will Come – KOKA Allegedly Threatens EOCO Officers
KOKA, a vocal affiliate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has intensified tensions surrounding the detention of Ashanti Regional Chairman Bernard Antwi-Boasiako, popularly known as Chairman Wontumi, with a pointed warning to officers of the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO).

In a video circulating widely on social media, KOKA accused EOCO personnel of political bias and issued a stark warning:
“I know where you stay. You’re laughing at us now, but your time will come.”
He went further to claim that Ghana’s security agencies, including the police, have lost their neutrality and are now serving the interests of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC).
“It’s now a personal vendetta. The police are acting on behalf of the government. They won’t even allow us access to the premises,” he said.
“Let me remind them—this is only a reset. The real process will begin soon. When that time comes, we’ll bring you out of your rooms for judgment.
KOKA’s remarks came during a demonstration at EOCO headquarters, where he joined NPP Minority MPs in demanding the release of Chairman Wontumi.
Wontumi is currently in custody facing investigations for alleged fraud, money laundering, and causing financial loss to the state. Although bail has been granted at GH¢50 million, he remains detained due to his legal team’s inability to meet the conditions.
The arrest and ongoing detention have triggered widespread backlash from NPP loyalists, who argue the move is politically motivated and aimed at weakening the opposition ahead of the upcoming elections.
