I have a problem with #vgmaunsung category- Kobby Salm
Faith-based Ghanaian gospel singer and rapper Kobby Salm has expressed his dissatisfaction with VGMA’s unsung category. This happened after VGMA issued a communique for the call of nominations for the VGMA24 Unsung Category. He sees this as a ”nothing to bring home” category due to the fact that, upon several recognition of this category, nothing has been done to see to the improvement of these artistes in question.
He therefore goes on to question VGMA if they actually have a scheme of plan for the said category or the whole platform is just centred about their mere performance. He further adds that after this show, the various artistes under this category go back to their ”shell”. The gospel singer actually thinks these artistes deserve more such that they should be given the maximum support.

He identifies this as going a long way to retard the growth of the industry as fresh and new artistes are left out. He expressed this discontentment in a post he made on Facebook.
