Gospel powerhouse Piesie Esther, success in music is not only about talent and hard work, but also the quiet sacrifices of her biggest supporter her husband.

Speaking on Joy Prime’s Changes with Roselyn Felli, the multiple award-winning singer opened up about why she chose her husband to manage her career instead of hiring an outsider. She revealed that her comfort and confidence come from his constant presence.

“I am more comfortable and on the safe side with him. I’m so attached to him that if I go somewhere without him, I know I won’t be able to continue unless he is there. It’s not that I can’t do things on my own, but I’m used to him being around. He is part of me, and there’s nothing wrong with that,” she explained.

Though her husband studied procurement and had no background in videography, he has become the force behind all her videos. “Sometimes when I travel without him, I don’t take videos because when others record, I just delete them — they don’t look good. But my husband keeps learning new things, and I’m often amazed at what he does,” she said with admiration.

Piesie Esther admitted it sometimes troubles her that he had to put aside his own career path, but she believes God has blessed her ministry through his dedication. With a master’s degree in procurement, he was on a different professional journey before choosing to support her fully. Over time, he has taught himself videography and now plays a key role in her creative content and music projects.
