“I Don’t Trust Voting Patterns In Music Awards” — Francis Amo
Gospel musician Francis Amo has revealed that he does not place much trust in voting patterns used in music award schemes.
Speaking in an interview on Hitz FM with host Nii Noi, Amo explained that such awards were never a major priority for him, partly because of his personal connections within the gospel ministry.
“I was very close to gospel minister Elder Mireku, so such awards weren’t really the thing I wanted,” he said.

According to Francis Amo, while recognition and accolades can be meaningful, the competitive nature of awards and reliance on public voting or popularity often fail to reflect true artistic and spiritual contributions.
He encouraged aspiring gospel musicians to focus on their craft, ministry, and impact on listeners rather than chasing awards or external validation.
