In an interview with Nana Romeo on Okay FM, the celebrated gospel musician explained that while she appreciates recognition, her true focus remains on spreading the gospel through music.

“I don’t do music for awards, though I value it when I’m acknowledged,” she said, noting that her passion for ministry and impact outweighs any desire for trophies.
Ceccy Twum made the revelation while promoting her much-anticipated worship event, Gold Worship 25, which is scheduled to take place on November 16 at the Charismatic Evangelistic Ministry in North Legon.

The event is expected to bring together worshippers from across the country for an evening of spirit-filled praise and worship.

Speaking further, Ceccy Twum shared that her mission has always been to inspire, uplift, and touch lives with the message of Christ. She believes that awards are good for encouragement, but they do not define an artist’s purpose or calling.
