I Don’t Charge My Colleagues For Shows – Mavis Asante Claims
Ghanaian gospel musician Mavis Asante has disclosed that she does not charge her fellow artistes when they invite her to perform at their events. According to her, supporting colleagues in ministry is more important than taking money from them.
Speaking in an interview on Joy Prime with Roselyn Felli, Mavis Asante explained that although some colleagues try to offer her money after a performance, she often turns it down.

“Sometimes they try to bless me after the show, but I reject it,” she revealed. “I do that because he or she is my colleague, and I might also need them for my show one day.”

Mavis Asante added that the gospel industry thrives on collaboration, love, and mutual support, so she sees no need to place financial barriers between herself and other musicians. She believes helping without conditions strengthens relationships and promotes unity within the ministry.
