Hon. Okudzeto Ablakwa Provides Free Mattresses & Chop Boxes For 2,207 Fresh SHS Students

Member of Parliament for North Tongu and Minister for Foreign Affairs, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, has once again demonstrated his commitment to education by providing free mattresses and chop boxes to 2,207 first-year students entering Senior High Schools (SHS) within his constituency.

In a post shared on his social media page, Ablakwa assured the fresh students that they would not need to worry about these essential items, as they have all been fully covered under his initiative.

“All my beloved 2,207 fresh North Tongu SHS students don’t have to worry about buying mattresses and chop boxes — their MP has got them covered for FREE,” he announced.

Beyond this generous gesture, the legislator revealed that all five Senior High Schools in North Tongu are undergoing significant infrastructural development. These include the construction of new, modern dining halls to improve students’ comfort and enhance the overall learning environment.

Ablakwa’s interventions have been widely praised by constituents and education stakeholders, who see his actions as a major boost to access to quality education and student welfare in the area.
