The news was initially reported by Snapchat blogger SelTheBomb and later corroborated by FameBugs. Hajia 4Reall is currently serving her sentence at the Federal Detention Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, under the inmate number 58758-510.
Insiders close to the case have revealed that the ‘God’s Child’ hitmaker is expected to be freed within the next 24 hours and will reportedly return to Ghana immediately after her release.
Mona Faiz Montrage was arrested in the United Kingdom in 2022 and subsequently extradited to the United States, where she faced several charges—including wire fraud, money laundering, and conspiracy—in connection with a transnational romance scam operation. She eventually pleaded guilty to one count and was sentenced earlier this year as part of a plea agreement.
According to U.S. prosecutors, the scheme ran over several years and targeted mostly older, single individuals, defrauding victims of hundreds of thousands of dollars.
Though it’s uncertain whether Hajia 4Reall will return to her music and influencer career upon her return to Ghana, news of her expected release has already sparked widespread attention online.
Stay tuned for more updates as the story continues to unfold.
