Gov’t Slashes Nursing Training Admission Forms Fee From GH¢200 To GH¢150

The Ministry of Health has announced a reduction in application fees for health training institutions across Ghana for this year.

The Ministry of Health has reduced the cost of nursing and health training admission forms from GHS 200.00 to GHS 150.00, aiming to make applications more affordable for aspiring health professionals across the country.

Announcing the decision, Health Minister Hon. Kwabena Mintah Akandoh said the move is part of a broader effort to make health education more accessible, especially for young people in underserved communities.

Application forms for the 2025/2026 academic year will be available from April 22 to June 19, 2025, and can only be purchased at GCB Bank PLC and Agriculture Development Bank branches.

The Ministry has promised to release additional information soon.
