Gospel Superstar, Ewura Abena announces first event to launch new album after many years of obscurity
Gospel sensation, Ewura Abena is ready and fired up to launch and release her new album dubbed “Rebirth, Mary’s Child Album on 6th August 2023.
The Mary’s Child album “Rebirth” was first announced in March to cap months of the songstresss comeback to the music industry. At the 24th Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs), she won three nominations for the song “This far,” that was released in 7th October 2022.
‘Rebirth’ recounts the story of Mary’s birth to the Saviour, Jesus Christ, comparing that to her ‘rebirth’ into the Ghanaian gospel music scene.
On Sunday August 6, 2023, Ewura Abena, a launch of the new album will be held at the Believers House of Worship International on the Spintex Road in Accra.
According to her, she has prayed for a “wonderful time” for every individual on the launch day and asked God to show himself to anyone who will be present.
Saturday, July 1, she revealed in one of her social media posts that she is excited to announce her 1st event after many years of obscurity.” “My new album ‘REBIRTH (Mary’s Child)’ is ready to be launched. I am believing God for a wonderful time in his presence on that day”, she stated.
