Gospel Songs Deserve A Place In Secular Categories – Nana Yaw Ofori-Atta
Gospel musician Nana Yaw Ofori-Atta has expressed the view that gospel songs should be given the opportunity to compete in secular music categories.
He made this statement during an interview with Nii Noi on Hitz FM, where he shared his thoughts on music classifications and award schemes.
According to Nana Yaw Ofori-Atta, gospel music should not be limited only to gospel categories, especially when some gospel songs meet the same production and creative standards as mainstream secular songs.
He explained that good music is good music, regardless of the genre, and that gospel songs can stand tall when placed side by side with secular tracks in certain categories.
