Gospel Artistes Use Juju More Than Secular Musicians – Bulldog Claims
Entertainment pundit and artiste manager Lawrence Asiamah Hanson, popularly known as Bulldog, has stirred conversation with his bold claim that the gospel music industry is more entangled in spiritual warfare and juju practices than its secular counterpart.

Speaking in reaction to recent revelations by gospel artiste Cwesi Oteng—who alleged that some musicians took his album to a cemetery—Bulldog affirmed that such spiritual manipulation is not uncommon in the industry.
“It’s happening in our business, and you could dedicate an entire show to it,” Bulldog said. “It’s even worse in the gospel scene than in secular music. Don’t think he’s making it up—it’s real.”
While he acknowledged that some secular artistes also dabble in spiritual practices, Bulldog stressed that the gospel music space, especially in Ghana, sees a higher prevalence of such activities.
His remarks have reignited public debate over spirituality in showbiz, especially within an industry often associated with faith and morality.
