God Will Not Judge Anybody For A Broken Marriage – Counsellor Lutterodt
Popular relationship counsellor George Lutterodt has stirred public discussion following comments he made during an appearance on Adom TV, where he stated that God will not judge anyone for having a broken marriage.
Speaking on the television programme, Counsellor Lutterodt argued that marital challenges and divorces should not automatically be treated as spiritual failures or sins. According to him, many people remain trapped in unhappy or unhealthy marriages because of fear, guilt, or societal and religious pressure rather than personal conviction.
He further revealed that in his younger years, he was misled into believing that marrying more than one woman was sinful, a belief he now says was based on misunderstanding and societal conditioning rather than personal clarity.

Lutterodt explained that marriage is a personal journey and that its success or failure should be viewed through the lens of human responsibility, growth, and circumstance not condemnation. He stressed that God’s judgment is not centered on broken marriages but on the intentions and actions of individuals in their walk with Him.
