Don D, the founder of the Ghana Music Awards, USA (GMA-USA), has revealed that all is prepared for the release of this year’s nominations on Saturday, April 15 at Waterford 6715 Commerce St, Springfield, VA 22150.

In the words of him, a lot of work has gone into making this year’s TapTap-sponsored event better to commemorate the scheme’s progress over the previous four years.

Don D, actual name Dennis Boafo, told Graphic Showbiz that GMA-USA’s score has always been high and that the squad was not about to reduce their performance.

“We are aware that a lot is expected of us, even as we continue to raise the bar and set new standards in the Ghanaian entertainment industry in the United States.” We’ve gone a long way.

“And for that, we are making extensive preparations, and we are certain that this year’s event will outperform previous years.” “For example, the entire event production will be completely revamped,” he stated.

At last year’s ceremony, highlife musician Kofi Kinaata was named the ultimate Artiste of the Year.

GMA-USA aims to celebrate Ghanaian artists and musicians both in Ghana and in the diaspora, notably in the United States. They are suitably recognized for their efforts in the current year.

The fourth edition of GMA-USA was held last year at the Lincoln Theater in Columbus, Ohio. It was a star-studded affair attended by deserved victors.

Among others who received honors on the occasion were Black Sherif, Diana Hamilton, Kuami Eugene, and KiDi.
